Child education – scholastics and sponsorship
CERA works to facilitate provision of an education to the children through provision of Life skills building, creation of a safe but open learning, health education and support and provision of the basic scholastics equally to the children from less privileged families.
Food Basket Initiative
Ruwenzori is a fertile landscape. However, households barely make any income on their land. The diet of local residents, especially children and the elderly lacks important foods such as vegetables. These foods can be easily got from locally grown household gardens.
Tree Planting
All CERA projects and activities have a component of conservation education because we believe that children and households conservation awareness is key to rural economic success.
